Andrew is a people and leadership specialist with extensive experience across national, international, and global HR roles in hospitality, financial services, contact centres, and professional services. As a founder of People & Purpose, he brings a strategic yet grounded approach to helping organisations build healthy cultures, develop their leaders, and create workplaces where people can do their best work.

A Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and a member of the Institute of Leadership, Andrew holds a Master’s in HR Management and is an accredited coach (AoEC) and mentor (EMCC). He blends deep technical expertise with a warm, human-centred style, supporting organisations to strengthen capability, navigate change, and lead with clarity and compassion.

Andrew also founded XSectorMentor.com, a CPD-certified mentoring platform, and serves as a Judge for the annual HR Network Scotland Awards. Originally from Highland Perthshire, he is a Trustee and Director of the Enchanted Forest Community Trust and previously served as a Trustee of South East Scotland Scouts.
